Nyla J. Miller March 1, 1941 - June 8, 2016 Nyla J. Miller, 75, of Jackson, NE passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, IA. Nyla was born in Sioux City, IA on March 1, 1941, the daughter of Elmer and Lyda (Koch) Loseke. She attended school in Leigh, NE. Her family moved to South Sioux City and she graduated from South Sioux City High School. She graduated from Stewarts Beauty School in Sioux City, IA and worked as a beautician for many years, before working for the Nebr. Dept. of Social Services in Dakota City, NE from 1988 until she retired in 2003. Nyla married Neill Miller at First Lutheran Church in South Sioux City, NE in 1962. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, wintering in Florida, boating on the river and just being outdoors. Survivors include her husband Neill Miller; children, Tony (Dixie) Miller, Teresa Arnold, Linn Miller, Terri (Steve) Bauder; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Karen Pinkley. Nyla was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Lyda Loseke; son-in-law, Kenny Arnold; and brother-in-law, Claude Pinkley.
