Bio
Lynda Ruth "Lulu" Wilkie was born July 2, 1943 in Sulphur, OK to Leonard Hay and Frances (McHargue) Hay. She was the oldest granddaughter of Sylvanus and Ruth (Charbonneau) McHargue. Lynda graduated from Hugo High School in May 1961 and married David Lee Wilkie on October 27, 1961. They were blessed with one son, David Leonard Wilkie; four grandchildren, Sasha Lynn Wilkie, Autumn Marie Wilkie, Emma Miller and Cecil Miller; and two great grandchildren, Preston Rozell and Kaylee Rozell. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Ernie and Tom Hay. Lynda worked several years at the Wells-Lamont Glove Factory in Hugo. She had been an active member of the Choctaw County Home Extension Club until her health declined due to diabetes and heart problems. She was an avid supporter of the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers and the Oklahoma Sooner football team. Lynda was a member of the Jackson Street Church of Christ, Hugo.
