(The Southern Star, October 10, 1963) MRS. ANNIE MYRTLE HAISTEN Mrs. Annie Myrtle Haisten, 63, died Friday night, Oct. 4, in a Dothan Hospital following several weeks illness. Funeral services were held at 2:00 Sunday afternoon at Pinckard Methodist Church with Rev. C.T. Hess, Rev J.A. Mitchell and Rev. David White officiating. Holman Brown-Service Funeral Home directed burial in Newton cemetery. Survivors are her husband, Mr. Marvin Haisten, Pinckard; five daughters, Mrs. Annie Kathryn Trawick, Newton, Ala., Mrs. Louise Enfinger, Hartford, Ala., Mrs. Voncile Whigham, Geneva, Ala., Mrs. Doris Enfinger, and Mrs. Joanne Shelley, both of Dothan, Ala.; three sons, Jack Haisten, Newton, Ala., Patton Haisten, Dothan, Ala., Marvin Haisten, Jr., Sun Valley, Calif.; three half sisters, Mrs. Jewel Glover, Newton, Ala., Mrs. Mary Lee and Mrs. Ruth Klapal, both of Dothan, Ala.; one brother, Mr. Odell Pickett, Claremore, Oklahoma; three half brothers, Johnny Pickett, James Pickett, and Wilson Pickett, all of Dothan, Ala.; her stepmother Mrs. Allie Pickett, Dothan, Ala.; twenty one grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
