Elaine Giles Smith Dorcheus, loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, age 83, of Mountain View, Wyoming, died Monday, April 7, 2014. Born June 13, 1930 in Heber City, Utah to John Golden and Mary Louisa Shepherd Giles. Married John Wesley Eggers; they later divorced. Married Theron Franklin Smith in Heber City, Utah. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple. He died February 25, 1989. Married Glen Charles Dorcheus. He died September 4, 2013. She worked hard in many professions all her life. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Her family meant everything to her. She loved country concerts and traveling. Survived by children, Mary (Tim) Endner, Anna Elaine (Neil) Hilton, Evelyn (Wayne) Stoltz, Clara Jacques, and Fred (Becky) Eggers; eleven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; three brothers; one sister, Charles Giles, Dale Giles, Darrell Giles, and Annette Young; and many nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held on Friday, April 11, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in Mountain View, Wyoming at the Mountain View LDS Chapel. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Heber Eighth Ward Chapel, 650 South 1205 West, Heber City, Utah. Friends and family may call at the church one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Heber City Cemetery under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home.
