Bio

BRANCH, JOHN L. JR "BUTCH," 35, of Red Bank, died Wednesday in a local hospital. A Baptist, he was an employee of Highway 153 Wal-Mart and a Navy veteran. He was the son of the late John L. and Mary McArthur Branch Sr. Survivors include his wife, Janie Smith Branch, daughter, Samara Gibson; son, Kenny Branch, both of Red Bank; three brothers, Todd Smith, Red Bank, Mark Smith, Hixson, Tom Smith, Westminster, Calif., grandmother, Mary McArthur, Chattanooga; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today at the Coulter Capel of Lane Funeral Home.
