BRANCH - MARY ELINOR McARTHUR, 43, of 2106 E. 25th St. Place, died Saturday afternoon in a local hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and a member of Temple Baptist Church. Mrs. Branch was employed with Cumis insurance Society. She is survived by her husband, John L. Branch Sr., a son, John L. Branch Jr., mother, Mary Elizabeth McArthur, all of Chattanooga; Two sisters, Ann Pierce, Chattanooga, and Wanda Reno, Hixson; several nieces and nephews. Services will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Ed McKeel and the Rev. Walter Hare officiating. Burial will be in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Carl Langford, Bill Reynolds, Charles Lindsey, Bruce Goins, Jack Davis and Gene Bruno. The body is at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home.
