Bio

MRS. BESSIE NELSON FLEET, 94, formerly of 1011 Main Ave., died at Coffman Home for the Aged Friday afternoon. Born in White Post, Va., she was the daughter of the late Stover and Harriett Virginia Willingham Cooper. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank R. Fleet. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She is survived by: daughters, Mrs. Virginia Loudenslager, Warsaw, Va.; Mrs. Buryl Houser, Hagerstown; and Mrs. Ruth Highberger, Hedgesville, W. Va.; sons, Marvin C. Fleet, Winchester, Va.; and Ralph Fleet, San Diego, Calif.; sister, Mrs. Ruth Ridgeway, Berryville, Va.; 10 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Services Monday at 2 pm at Bast Funeral Home, Boonsboro, the Rev. Edwin G. Reter officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. *** Daily Mail, Hagerstown, Maryland Saturday, April 10, 1976
