ANNA BURYL HOUSER, 95, of 750 Dual Highway in Hagerstown, died Thursday, March 23, 2006, at Beverly Healthcare of Hagerstown. Born Feb. 21, 1911, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Bessie N. Fleet Cooper. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Cyrus C. Kershner in 1962, and Roy M. Houser in 1973. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Hagerstown. She is survived by three sons, Preston P. Piper, Jacob F. Piper and Daniel E. Piper, all of Falling Waters, W.Va.; nine stepdaughters, Sarah Wyatt, Emma Geary, Mildred C. Heiberger and Carolyn J. Gibney, all of Hagerstown, Thelma Binkley of Greencastle, Pa., Doris J. Miller of Big Pool, Bernice M. Lafferty of Williamsport, L. Elaine Griffith of Boonsboro, and Phyllis A. Hall of Petersburg, Va.; one stepson, David N. Houser of Hagerstown; one sister, Ruth Heiberger of Falling Waters; and grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two stepdaughters, Margaret Hoffman and Helen Miles; one stepson, John Kershner; one sister, Virginia Loudenslager; and five brothers, Ralph Fleet, Charles Fleet, Russell Fleet, Robert Fleet and Marvin Fleet. Graveside services were held in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hagerstown; arrangements were by Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, Hagerstown.
