Early Life: Ivy was born July 31, 1918, in Manila, Utah, to Albert Christian and Luella Henrietta Bullock Christensen. Life's Work/Service/Interests: She married Joseph Hindley Mayne on August 6, 1939, in Bingham Canyon and spent 59½ years together. On June 29, 1955, they were sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was an active member of the LDS Church and served in auxiliaries as Relief Society president, Primary presidency and visiting teacher. She was a dedicated wife, devoted mother and grandmother; her family was first and foremost in her life. Ivy Dorothy Christensen Mayne died February 8, 1999, in American Fork, Utah. She was 80 years old. Survived By: One son and four daughters: Dalene (Barth) Smith, Spanish Fork; Ella Marie (Jim) Wudel, Mesa, AZ; Gayla (Rondall) Morrill, American Fork; Kenneth (Karen) Mayne, Highland; and Carol (Lonie) Fisher, American Fork; 19 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
