Murdoch, Don Merriman 79, of Bonham passed away on March 16, 2014 at his residence. Don was born on October 31, 1934 in Dallas, TX, the son of V.A. and Hazel Murdoch. He was a graduate of S.M.U. with a law degree, serving clients through law and real estate. Don was a cowboy enthusiast when it came to horses, cowboy hats, cowboy poetry and country music. He enjoyed visiting with his friends around the United States and was of the Methodist faith. He was preceded in death by his son, Scott Murdoch. He is survived by: Sister: Dorothy Hendrick, Step Son: Mike Chitwood, Step Grandchildren: Ashley Allen, Cole Chitwood and Erin Chitwood.
