Died at age 69. Harley was married. Parents: Sidney Walter Buckner. Mary Ann Hullett. Sidney and Mary married November 10, 1892 in Blount County, Alabama. 1900 & 1910 United States Federal Census forms both verify marriage year 1893. Married Zuma Era Nell Owens December 30, 1934 in Blount, Alabama. OBITUARY: Harley Buckner 69, of 2405 Center Point Road, who died Monday was a native of Blount County and had lived in Center Point 28 years. He was a member and deacon of Fellowship Baptist Church and was owner of Family Shoe Store. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Roebuck Chapel, with burial in Forest Crest Cemetery. Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Jane Nelson, Mrs. Geraldine Tucker, Mrs. Carolyn Phillips and Mrs. Nell Sanders and two sons, Jerry Buckner and Joseph Buckner, all of Birmingham; two brothers, L.K. Buckner and Doyle Buckner, both of Bessemer, and six sisters, Mrs. Lottie Ingram, Bessemer, Mrs. Deane Hudson, Hueytown, Mrs. Hettie Armstrong and Mrs. Cora Burton, Birmingham, Mrs. Ruth Addison, Tarrant, and Mrs. Ethel Harris, Remlap.
