Missouri Valley TimesNews 13 Feb 2007: Bonnie M. Jensen, 85, Missouri Valley, died Feb. 1 at Methodist Hospital, Omaha. Bonnie was born March 5, 1921 in Misosuri Valley to James F. and Iva (Williams) Walls. She graduated from Missouri Valley High School and resided in the Missouri Valley area all of her life. Bonnie married Harlan (Milton) Jensen, June 23, 1938 in Onawa. Harlan died Apr. 6, 1990. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harlan (Milton); son, Rodney; sister, Iola Walker; brother, Dr. Bill Walls; and grandson, Bryan. Survivors include: sons, Larry Jensen and his wife, Carolyn, Missouri Valley; Tommy Jensen and his wife, Linda, Missouri Valley; Randy Jensen and his wife, Susan, Missouri Valley; daughter, Judy Pleak and her husband, Charles, Oakland; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Jensen, Woodbine; 16 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Trullis Richardson, Milwaukee, Ore.; and brother, James F. Walls, Smyrna, Tenn. Funeral Services were held Feb. 5 at the First Methodist Church, Missouri Valley, Pastor Bob Dagit, officiant. Organist was Genelle Riesland, vocalist was Bill Cunard. Honorary Bearers were: Randy McHugh, Jason Jensen, Tim Jensen, and Chris Jensen. Casket Bearers were: John Jensen, David Jensen, Bob Wentworth, Kevin Jensen, Michael Jensen, and Mitch Pleak. Interment was in the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens, Missouri Valley.
