(KS) Belleville Telescope Aug. 29, 1963 Aaron Kasha, son of Wesley B. and Josie Kasha, was born at Munden, Kan., October 3, 1898, and passed away at his farm home northwest of Munden, August 22, 1963, at the age of 64 years, 10 months and 19 days. He spent his childhood days with his parents in Munden. At about 12 years of age, his parents moved to a farm near Mahaska, Kan., where he grew to manhood. On November 5, 1930, he was united in marriage to Ella Houdek. The young couple established their home on a farm near Cuba. Their home was blessed with the birth of two children, one son and one daughter. In 1938, Mr. and Mrs. Kasha purchased the farm, the place of their present residence, one mile west and one-half north of Munden. Here they spent the last 25 years of their wedded life. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Mrs. Virginia Mae Flowers, also by his parents, and one brother, Frank. Surviving and mourning his departure are, his wife Ella of the home; his son Vernon Kasha and his wife, and one grandson Randall Scott Kasha; two sisters, Mrs. Bethie Fencl of Washington, Kan., Mary Benyshek and her husband of Solon, Ia., several nephews and nieces, and three uncles, Joe Kasha of Herington, Kan., Adolph Kasha of Kansas City, Mo., Frank Zacek of Republic; four aunts, Mary Bartushek of Lincoln, Neb., Mrs. Joe Blazek of Cuba, Mrs. Rose Barnett of Wichita and Mrs. John Shulda of Cuba, other relatives and friends. He was a longtime member of the local organization of the Z.C.B.J. lodge. Funeral services were held at the Munden Presbyterian church Rev. Amos Rundus officiating. Burial was in the family lot in Tabor Cemetery near Munden.
