TACOMA NEWS TRIBUNE SOLHEIM, JOHN T. 23 JAN 2002 B5 18-Jan-2002 SOLHEIM, JOHN T. (DEATH NOTICE) 29 JAN 2002 B4 18-Jan-2002 John T. Solheim, 88, went to be with the Lord on Jan. 18, 2002. He was born on Nov. 21, 1913 in Rural Manfred, ND. He was retired from Carling Brewer Co. after 35 years of loyal service. He loved bowling, fishing and his Mariners ball games. He is survived by his daughter Patti Fowlkes of Spanaway, whom he lived with, both her and her husband, David; his sister, Hilda of North Dakota; 2 granddaughters: Julie Kiehn of Spanaway and Mitchell Perkins of Alaska; 5 great-grandchildren, and many friends and family. He will be greatly missed. Services will be at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Tacoma, Friday, Jan. 25, 2002 at 1:00 PM. Graveside services will follow at 2:30 PM at Fir Lane Memorial Park in Spanaway.
