Bio

Reita Mae Meyers was born 9 April 1901 in Walker County, Georgia, USA. She was the oldest of the children born to Lorenzo Madison Meyers (1878-1937) and Martha Frances Shaw Meyers (1883-1956). Siblings: William Roy Meyers (1905-1988), Archie Lee Meyers (1907–1977) and Lora E. [Meyers] Coleman/Cox (1909–1972). Reita never married and she continued to live with her parents. Reita passed away 19 August 1966 in Chattanooga, Hamilton County, Tennessee and was buried next to her parents in the Forest Hills Cemetery in Chattanooga, Hamilton, Tennessee.
