Martha Frances "Fannie" Shaw was born 23 October 1883 in Cooper Heights, Walker, Georgia, USA. She was the 4th of seven children born to George Washington Shaw (1854-1913) and Holly Elizabeth Johnson (1859-1938). Siblings: Ethel Roena Shaw (1878-1961), Walter B. Shaw (1879-1887), Park Shaw (1882-1883), William Arthur Shaw (1886-1967), George Benjamin Shaw (1889-1956) and Roberta Elizabeth Shaw (1896-1901). She married Lorenzo Madison Meyers on 5 November 1899 in Walker County, Georgia. Children: Reita Mae Meyers (1901–1966), William Roy Meyers (1905-1988), Archie Lee Meyers (1907–1977) and Lora E. [Meyers] Coleman/Cox (1909–1972). Fannie passed away 25 September 1956 in Chattanooga, Hamilton, Tennessee and was buried next to her husband in the Forest Hills Cemetery in Chattanooga, Hamilton, Tennessee.
