Bio

Lillian died February 16, 2014 at Mory's Haven in Columbus. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St Isidore Catholic Church with Rev. Don Czapla and Rev. Joseph A. Miksch officiating. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Lillian A. Krzycki was born October 29, 1922 in Fullerton, Nebraska to Walter and Beaty (Rosno) Czapla. She graduated from Genoa Public School in 1940. Lillian married Stephen A. Krzycki on January 21, 1947 at St. Rose of Lima Church in Genoa, Nebraska. Along with helping her husband farm near Genoa, Lillian worked at St. Marys Hospital, ALCO, and Caseys General Store in Columbus. She also did volunteer work at the Salvation Army. Lillian was a member of St. Isidore Church. She enjoyed gardening, especially raising flowers, painting, crocheting, and collecting angels and dolls. She is survived by: Son: Walter (Bonnie) Krzycki of Columbus, NE Son: David Krzycki of Omaha, NE Granddaughter: Stephanie (David) Kuhn of Lincoln, NE Granddaughter: Nicole (Frank) Medina of Lincoln, NE Grandson: Stephen Krzycki of Columbus, NE Grandson: Justin Krzycki of Columbus, NE Great Grandchildren: Cailin and Tyson Kuhn of Lincoln, NE and Ivy Medina of Lincoln, NE Brother: Clarence (Marian) Czapla of Genoa, NE Brother: Frank (Carol) Czapla of Genoa, NE She was preceded in death by: Parents: Walter and Beaty Czapla Husband: Stephen A. Krzycki Sister: Matilda Kosiba Sister: Elsie Koczor Sister: Rose Pilakowski Sister: Frances Christianson McKown Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
