Graveside services for Sammy Mullican, age 84, of Palestine,Texas will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Roselawn Park, with Dr. Woody Wilson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Palestine. Mr. Mullican passed away February 13, 2014, at Mother Frances Hospital Tyler. He was born September 16, 1929 in Dallas County to John L. and Dovie Mae Fowler Mullican. He was in retail sales. Mr. Mullican was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, and one sister. He is survived by daughter, Joy James and husband Lynn of Palestine; grandchildren, Amy Coats of Wells, TX, and Zachary and wife Sheena James of Anna, TX; great grandchildren, Tiffany, Caylee, Ava, Kendall and Madison.
