Maxine Betsill Mullican, 84, daughter of the late Loyd & Alma Hill Betsill, was born September 4, 1931 in Palestine, Texas and passed away on April 14, 2016 in Palestine, Texas. Maxine was a member of the Southside Baptist Church& had worked as a manager / secretary for Knox Glass Containers. She is survived by her daughter Joy James and husband Lynn of Palestine, two grand children, Amy Coats of Diboll and Zachary James of Anna, TX, three great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd & Alma Hill Betsill; husband of 63 years Sammy Mullican in 2014. Services for Maxine Mullican, of Palestine will be at 2:00 P.M. April 16, 2016,with Rev. Forest Wiggins officiating at Roselawn Park Cemetery, Palestine, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster.
