Anietha Belle Cameron peacefully passed away Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014, surrounded by loved ones. She was born June 26, 1939, three months early, to Robert and Laura Jackson in Deport, Texas. Weighing only 1 pound at birth and not expected to live through the night, Anietha fought to live. Growing up in Texas, California and Idaho, along with her siblings, Betty Jo Sims, Jim "JB" Jackson (Yrma), John Jackson (Billie) and Bob "Junior" Jackson (Jennifer), life was always an adventure for "the little one." After moving to Idaho as a child, she found her home and made many lifelong friends. While attending Jerome High School, she was introduced to her future husband, Hank Snoderly. From this union her three children, Laurie Scherer (George), Sonny Snoderly and Kathleen Malespin, were born and raised in Jerome, Idaho. She began working on the assembly line peeling potatoes at Universal Frozen Foods; believing in hard work and dedication, always leading by example. She was with the company more than 30 years, retiring as a manager of quality control for what is now Lamb Weston. Not only did she meet friends throughout this career, but people whom she considered family. On Aug. 30, 1975, she married her lifelong companion, Darryl Cameron. He added to her family four children, Steve Cameron, Mike Cameron (Lisa), Kevin Cameron (Marlene) and Lynette Sievers (Tom). Together they went on many adventures; fishing, camping, and traveling. Weeknights they could be found at Jerome Bowl competing in league. Her life was filled with many that loved her. She had 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She always enjoyed the sound of children throughout her house, whether they were her grandchildren, nieces or nephews. She was preceded in death by her Mama and Daddy; sisters, Betty Jo Sims and Lucille Higginbotham; brothers, Howard Jackson and Layton Jackson; and daughter, Kathleen Marie. "Bless her heart!" A celebration of life service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home located at 2551 Kimberly Road in Twin Falls.
