Libert Louis Vitek, 86, of Brazoria, Texas, passed away on January 21, 2014 in Lake Jackson, Texas. He was born to Martin and Albina (Mikes) Vitek in Fayetteville, Texas on August 17, 1927. He was a retiree from The Dow Chemical Company, and he served in the United State's Marine Corps, was active in the St. Joseph's Catholic Church Men's Club, Eucharistic Ministry, Knights of Columbus, and KJT, where he was recently recognized for his 75 year membership. Libert Vitek was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Alphonse Vitek, Justin Vitek, Cyril Vitek, Dorothy Klecka, Mildred Vitek, and Dominic Vitek
