Bio

Gladys M. Kodet was born, on 13 March 1914, to Frank H. and Katherine H. Zetah Kodet, in Renville County, Minnesota. On 30 June 1936, Gladys married Emil James Wohnoutka, the son of Frank and Antonia Shembauer Wohnoutka, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bechyn. They farmed on the family farm until Emil retired in 1983. They had two daughters, Elaine Hoffmann and Shirley Kretsch, and two sons, Dale who married Mary Middleton, and Douglas. Gladys M. Kodet Wohnoutka, of Redwood Falls, died at the age of 90, on 22 February 2005, in Redwood Falls, Redwood County, Minnesota. She was buried in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Bechyn, Renville County, Minnesota.
