Bio
Lucy Frances Hairgrove Bailey, age 93, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Solomon J. Bailey, her brother Marvin Hairgrove and her sister Marjorie Stanley. Lucy is survived by her son, Solomon Ray Bailey and her daughter, Ruth Picazo and her husband Daniel E. Picazo Sr.; grandsons, Daniel E. Picazo Jr. and his wife Cindy and Duane Picazo; great granddaughters, Cori Noelle and Kacy Nicole; great grandsons, Jacob Daniel and Zachary Dale; two brothers and a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends. Mrs. Bailey will be remembered as friendly and outgoing. She had a smile as big as Texas and the twinkle in her eyes would make the stars look dim. The family will receive friends on Monday evening, January 13, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held in the main chapel at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 with Rev. Zane Crawford, Pastor of College Park Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
