Bio

A 58, former resident of Chriesman, Ellis Hairgrove, died in Houston, the morning of August 9th. He had been ill for the past three months. He is the son of A.J. Hairgrove, and a brother to Mrs. Dwight McDonald both of Cameron. Funeral services were held at the Chapel of the Green Funeral Home with Interment in the Sand Grove Cemetery. Survivors were one daughter, Mrs. Bill Bailey of Houston; one son, Marvin Hairgrove; two sisters, Mrs. Dwight McDonald of Cameron and Mrs. Roy Fincher of Waxahachie; father A.J. Hairgrove of Cameron, and one brother O.D. Hairgrove of Fort Worth. Per Cameron Herald Aug 12, 1954
