Dalphie Tollison "D. T." "Dick" Shelton is the son of Monroe Lee Shelton and Mary Abbiegail MOORE Shelton. Dalphie Tollison "D. T." "Dick" Shelton born July 4, 1903, Headrick, Jackson County, Oklahoma; died November 26, 1986, Ada, Pontotoc County, Oklahoma. • Married Ruby MEAD Carter on October 14, 1937, Grandfield, Tillman County, Oklahoma. Children: • Richard Lee "Dick" Shelton • Linda Sue SHELTON Perry Dickson ***************************************** Services for Dick Shelton, 83, Ada, will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Criswell Funeral Home, the Rev. Ed Finley conducting rites. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery. Mr. Shelton died Wednesday at a local hospital. He was born July 4, 1903 in Headrick to Monroe L. and Mary Abigale Moore Shelton. He moved to Ada in 1964 from Lawton and was a retired contractor. On Oct. 14, 1934 he married Ruby Mead in Granfield.
