Raymond L. Ellis 1918 - 2005 Raymond L. Ellis Services: Mon., Nov. 14, 1:30 p.m. Services will be held at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Chapel, 2739 Panama Lane and Hwy. 99 for Raymond Lee Ellis, 87, who passed away November 9, 2005, in Bakersfield. Pastor Regan Walters will officiate. Raymond was born in Vernal, Utah on September 8, 1918. He brought the family to California from Oklahoma in 1950 where he resided for over 50 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie. Raymond was a dedicated and hard-working father. He leaves behind his children and their spouses, Thomas and Johnnie Ellis, Brenda and Bob Seal and Terry and Donald Hansen, 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Ruby Ellis; sister-in-laws, Juanita Ellis and May Ellis and many cousins and friends. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Laurel Springs Assistant Living, Beverly Manor for their special care. You brightened his days.
