Perla Faye O'Brien, 84, of San Angelo, left her earthly home Thursday, December 26, 2013 to be with her Heavenly Father. Perla was born Perla Faye Hunt October 19, 1929 in Sterling City, Texas. She graduated from Garden City High School in 1947 and married C. L. O'Brien May 20, 1959 in Big Spring, Texas. He preceded her in death August 5, 1999. She was a homemaker and an artist. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and a sister. She is survived by nephews and nieces, Lee Roy "Bud" Hunt and wife, Patricia of San Angelo. Jack Edward Hunt of Big Spring, Beth Holley and husband, Rick of Kermit, Carla Mayer and husband, Melvin of Boise, Idaho, Gina Jones and husband, Jimmy of Lubbock, Charlene Morris and husband, C. L. of Granbury and Kay Driver of Northfield, Minnesota. Per her wishes, Perla Faye will be buried at Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring with a private family memorial service to be held at a later date.
