VERNAL MAN DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS George Lynn Reynolds, 81, of Vernal, died June 19, 1976 in the Uintah County Hospitalafter a long illness. Mr. Reynolds was born July 12, 1894 in Vernal to Beldon Moroni Reynolds and Rhoda Freestone. On November 16, 1921 in Vernal, Utah he married Crystal Beers. The marriage was later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple November 16, 1926. He was a stockman and was a barber for 20 years. As a member of the Maeser First Ward he was a High Priest, a former member of the Maeser First Ward Bishopric and an active temple worker and home teacher. He was secretary of the High Priests Quorum at the time of his death. Mr. Reynolds played the violin and prospected for a hobby. He was a World War I veteran. In 1924 he attended Henagers Business College and a school of music where he learned to play the violin. He was enrolled at the University of Utah for three years. Survivors include his widow, Vernal; two sons and two daughters, Lynn Loran and Dean B., Mrs. Burnell (Hazel) Haws, Mrs. Jesse R. (Eva) York, all of Vernal; 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Maeser First Ward Chapel.
