Obituary Vernal Express 17 Aug 1928: Funeral Services Over Remains of Lon Reynolds are held at Lapoint. Alonzo Reynolds, who died in Vernal, Tuesday, Aug 7 1928 of pelure-pneumonia, was born in Vernal May 4 1888 the son of Robert Reynolds and Rhoda Freestone Reynolds. He leaves his wife Minnie Bigelow Reynolds, and three little children Deon 7, Neldon 5, and Arloa 10 months old, his aged grandmother Mrs Jennie Freestone, three brothers Fred Reynolds of Vernal, Lyle and Lynn of Roosevelt and two sister - May Labrum of Cedarview and Hazel Britt Tacoma, Wa also survive him. They all attended the funeral but Mrs. Britt. The deceased had the flu in the Spring and has been ailing since that time. He was taken to Vernal by his wife a month ago for medical treatment, but it seems his time had come and all that medical aid and loving hands could do was of no avail. He was a kind and loving husband and father to his children. He leaves many relatives and friends to mourn his passing. His remians were taken to Lapoint by Mr Swain, the undertaker and on Thursday, the funeral services were held at 2pm
