Stanley was born May 20 1914 to Rufus Sanders and Berta Mae Preston who were married September 14 1902 in Leon Co., Texas. Rufus was born February 9, 1886 in Robertson Co., Texas to James Sanders and Sarah Jane Gibson and Berta Mae was born to William Henry Preston and Emma Beatrice Livingston.
