Marshall was born to James Zachariah Hemby (1853-1907) & Ruth Luteschee Daniel (1868-1940). He was born in Oklahoma while it was still Indian Territory. Marshall was 1 of 7 children and lived most of his life in Dallas Texas. He retired from Proctor and Gamble.
