Bio

Leona Campana, 70 years in Butte, Succumbs Leona M. Campana, 75, a resident of Butte over 70 years, died in her residence, 523 W. Park, after a lengthy illness. Miss Campana was born Sept. 10, 1885, in Jasper City, Nevada. She came here as an infant and received her education in local schools. She was last employed as a bookkeeper and secretary in the auditor's office in Silver Bow County Courthouse. She retired in 1951. She was a member of the Rotana Club and St. Patrick church. Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Rocco J. Campana; sister, Mrs. Robert J. Hay, sisters-in-law, Mrs. Silvio R. Campana and Mrs. Frank Campana, all of Butte, and nephews and nieces. Montana Standard-Post, Butte, MT, 8 July 1961
