OBITUARY Jane Victoria Dinnel was born in Daviess county, Mo., October 3, 1859, and departed this life April 3, 1932, at the age of 72 years, 5 months, and 25 days. Her early life was spent at Jamesport, Mo., where she was married to Creed Lumpkin on August 2, 1885, and came to Nebraska that same year, where they lived until four years ago, when he preceded her in death. She was converted to Christ early in life and became a member of the Church of Christ at Palisade in 1915, where she has been loyal and faithful. Although frail in health, was always anxious to be in her place at the hour of worship. She was a great sufferer of asthma for many years, and though short of breath was many times willing to make a long walk against a cold wind to break bread with her Christ. She leaves one son, Elmer Lumpkin of Palisade, four sisters and two brothers: Phebe Troxel, Alice Fletcher and Ella Terry all of Elsie, Neb., and Ann Herbert of McCook, Wm. Dinnel of McCook and Geo. Dinnel of Palisade, three grandchildren and thirty four nieces and nephews.
