Death came at his home, 126 E. D Street, Tehachapi. Mr. Brite spent his entire lifetime in the community but we were unable to obtain details of his accomplishments. He was listed as retired. Survivors include a son, Walter D. of Yreka; a daughter, Barbara Warner, Tehachapi; two brothers, Jesse B. of Porterville and Clyde of Bakersfield. Services were held in Tehachapi Com. Church. on July 14 with Rev. Fenton Karnes officiating. Interment was in Greenlawn Cemetery Bakersfield.
