Bio

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary V. Anderson,80, who died at the Hawarden hosptial friday following a stroke, were held at 2 0'clock Monday afternoon at the Associated church. Rev. William Sebring officiated. Burial was at Grace Hill cemetery under the direction of the Barnard Funeral home. Mary Olson was born at Swaburg, Neb., November 20, 1881. In 1900 she married Andrew L. Anderson at Fremont, Neb. They resided at Uehling, Neb., until coming to Hawarden in 1917. He died in 1950. Preceding her in death beside her husband, were a son, Harold in infancy, two sisters and three brothers. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Lee Keehn (Fern) and Mrs. Leonard Cain (Myrtle, both of Hawarden, and Mrs. Forrest Miller, jr. (Hazel) of Sioux Falls; a brother, Alfred Olson of Craig, Neb.
