Bio

Catherine Eyvonne Harris died in Okmulgee on November 8, 2013 at 84 years of age. Catherine was born August 27, 1929 in Talihina, Oklahoma to D.H. and Pearl Rose (Bohannon) Dukes. In Van Buren, Arkansas on October 25, 1947 she married Lee Wade Harris. She was a long time member of the Countryside Baptist Church in Council Hill. She was known as a good gospel singer and sang the third part of a gospel trio who traveled around to many venues singing and sharing the gospel. Catherine also belonged to the VFW Ladies Auxillary. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: Everett Dukes, Lloyd Dukes and one infant and a sister Charlotte Barrett.
