Funeral services for Bertha F Vanecek Haisler, 90, of Temple were held December 30 at the Ocker Brethren Church with the Rev. Al Newby and the Rev. Ron Winsman officiating. Burial followed in Ocker Cemetery. She died Dec 28, 2000, in Temple, Texas. She was born in Milano, Texas, to E. F. and Janie Baca Vanecek. Bertha married L. B. Haisler on November 6, 1929 in Caldwell, Texas. She resided in Bell County most of her life. She and her husband farmed in the Oenaville Community. She was a member of Ocker Brethren Church and the Christian Sisters, Seaton Senior Citizen Group, RVOS, and SPJST Lodge Number 24. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ladislav Bohumir Haisler. Survivors include two sons; a daughter; brothers, John and George Vanecek; sister, Annie Bachofer; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
