Daughter of Louis & Anna (Littleman) Loseke. She grew up on the farm and attended grade school at District #40 school near Leigh. As a young girl, Hulda learned to crochet and other handy work, but most of her time was spent helping with the farm, household chares, and the younger children. Hulda married Elmer Olson on October 6, 1937 in Castlewood, South Dakota and they enjoyed many years together. They made their home in Leigh, Nebraska, California and Fremont, Nebraska before finally settling in Columbus. Hulda has enjoyed many different occupations including housekeeping, helping her sister with her family, working at the bomber plants in California, Plum Field Nurseries and as a cook at the schools in Columbus. She continued her handy work, making and sharing many afghans. She enjoyed her flower garden and the bus trips she and Elmer took through the years. Her family remembers her as a caring, giving sister who, being one of the oldest, could be bossy on occasion. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church. Hulda is survived by: Brother - Louie Loseke of Columbus, NE Sister - Irene Hajek of Columbus, NE Sister - Lillian Bonner of Milford, NE Many nieces and nephews Hulda was preceded in death by: Parents - Louis and Anna Loseke Husband - Elmer Olson Brother - Hugo Sisters - Louise, Olga, Emma and Elsie
