Douglas was a devoted family man who loved his grandchildren and made them his life. He was employed with Southwestern Bell for over 30 years. Douglas is survived by his wife: Debbie Porter of Rowlett, TX; children: Kari Reynolds of Garland, TX, Robert Kaylor of Leonard, TX, Kelly Gilley of Rowlett, TX, Catherine Porter Hutton of Dallas, TX, Jason Porter of Irving, TX, and Shannon Porter of Houston, TX; grandchildren: Maddy, Dakota, Baylee, Dalton, Lexie, Shelby and Jesse; sister: Juanita Williams of Bonham, TX; aunts: Joyce Thomas and husband Henry and Naomi Tarr all of Salisbury, MD. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Chuck Porter. ...................................................... Douglas was a son of the late Glen D. and Gladys Mae Lewis Porter. His siblings included Clara Juanita and Charles Glen Porter. Douglas served in the US Navy Jul 29,1965 - Jul 23,1967 He married four times Barbara Ann George 2/27/1967 and Divorced 3/25/1974 2 Children Linda Merle Lowrey 10/18/1975 and Divorced 9/5/1978 1 Child Sandi J. Waller 11/1/1978 and Divorced 3/20/1887 Deborah Kay Crable 11/18/1989 Note - it is recorded in the Divorce Settlements he had 3 children, which appear to be Catherine, Jason and Shannon.
