Mary Ann Svoboda, age 98, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2013. She was born April 4, 1915 in Cost, Texas to August and Johanna Sramck Zissa. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Ben F. Svoboda; son, Leonard Svoboda; sisters, Lillian Zissa Valsek and Olga Zissa Head; bothers, Albert, Edward, Lebert, Ernest and Billy Zissa. Graveside service at Shiner Catholic Cemetery.
