William Leo Francis Black, 89, formerly of Crossett, died Friday, May 26, in Houston, Texas. He was born on May 20, 1903 to William Lafayette Black and Annie Pearl Gandy Black in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Graveside services were held Sunday, May 28, at Beekman Cemetery in Beekman, Louisiana with the Rev. Emil Turner officiating, under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett.
