Bio
Funeral services for Virginia Lee Parker Volarik, 66, of Needville, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 5, 2013, at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel in Rosenberg. Interment will follow in Guy Public Cemetery in Guy. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 4, 2013, in the State Room of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Virginia was born December 30, 1946 in Damon to Archie Parker and Lydie Amalie (Meyer) Parker. She was a member of the 1st English Lutheran Church in Damon. She was an Avon Representative and enjoyed bingo, trips to the Louisiana casinos, and gardening to produce her own vegetables. She passed away October 2, 2013 at her residence in Needville. Virginia is preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Lydie Parker; brother, Lloyd Zwahr; and sister, Bessie Heitman. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, George Volarik; children, Jennifer Malovets and husband, Rickey, George Allen Volarik and wife, Jennifer, and Patrick Allen Volarik and wife, Nicole; siblings, Lydia Mae Kelly and husband, Carl, Lois Macha, Archie Parker and wife, Joan, and Eldora White and husband, Paul; grandchildren, Jodi Malovets, Jaci Malovets, Allyssa Volarik, Dustin Volarik, Cody Volarik, Kenneth Jones, and Tiffany Jones; along with other relatives and friends.
