Jean Gerber, 69, Montpelier, ND, loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother died Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center. Jean Andres was born April 10, 1944 in Jamestown, the daughter of Richard and Bertha (Stolz) Andres. She attended school in Pingree and Sydney, ND. Jean worked at the Sydney Grocery Store where she met Kenneth Gerber. They were married March 15, 1964. They lived on the Wilkinson farm, Kulm, ND, north of Jamestown and finally settled in Montpelier. She worked at Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Home for 29 years. Jean enjoyed putting puzzles together, word searches, and crocheting dish cloths, but she especially loved her grandchildren. They were her pride and joy. Jean is survived by her husband of 49 years, Kenneth, Montpelier; four children, Angela (Randy) Henne, Robert Gerber, Kevin Gerber and Linda (Farrell Hodges) Anderson; 11 grandchildren, Seth Moore, Chey, Searra and Parker Gerber, Cody Henne, Seth, Sawyer and Spencer Suko, Josie Gerber, Brianna Anderson and Zoe Hodges; one brother, James Andres; one sister, Betty (Elmer) Pfaff; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Bill Andres; three sisters, twin sister, Joan Andres, Sylvia Hoffmann and Doris Spitzer. Cemetery: Montpelier Cemetery, Montpelier, ND
