Nora Brown Smith Rhodes, 90 , a resident of Palestine, Texas, since 1980, when she and her first husband, A.B. Smith, retired and moved back from Lake Jackson, Texas. Mrs. Rhodes was born on January 8, 1919, in Caney, Oklahoma, to Amanda and Willie Brown. Survivors include her two children, Dianne Forbes,(Keith) ; Karen Long(Eddie); five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one sister, Kathryn Brown Wedgeworth . Nora was preceded in death by her two husbands, A.B. Smith ; Louis Coleman Rhodes; her parents; siblings, Melvin Brown; Raymond Brown; Marie Brown; Grace Pickle; Jean Brown Mack; daughter, Nora Lanell Busby, (C.A.
