Bio

Graveside services for Jean Marsh, age 87, of Comstock, Nebraska, will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 13, 2013 at Douglas Grove Cemetery in Comstock, Nebraska. The Rev. Marty Robbins will officiate. Visitation will be from 5-7pm on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at Rhoad Funeral Home in Sargent, Nebraska. Survivors include her sister-in-law, Virginia Watts of Comstock, Nebraska and three nieces and one nephew. Mrs. Marsh was born October 27, 1925 in Comstock, Nebraska to John and Emma Evalina (Nelson) Rousek. She was preceded in death by her husband Billy J. Marsh and three sisters. Mrs. Marsh graduated from Comstock High School with the class of 1943 and was employed at the Omaha National Bank for two years. On February 3, 1947, Jean married Billy J. Marsh in Phillipsburg, Kansas. Through the years, she enjoyed time spent with her husband Bill and friends at various casinos. Not only was she an excellent cook, but an avid reader and was always ready for a game of bridge. She was a member of the Comstock Legion Auxiliary Post 220.
