Bio
Billy J. Marsh, of Comstock, Nebraska departed this life and entered The Eternal Home on December 2, 2009, at Jennie M. Melham Memorial Medical Center in Broken Bow, Nebraska. Billy was 85 years of age having been born on May 2, 1924, in Custer County to William Henry and Erma Viola (Amos) Marsh. After he graduated from high school, he was drafted into the United States Navy serving during World War II from August 7, 1943 to April 2, 1946. After the service he moved to Shelton, Nebraska for a while before entering college in Hastings, Nebraska. While in college he married Jean Rousek. After college they moved to Comstock, Nebraska and started a cafe and hardware store, after that they farmed in the Comstock area of Custer County, Nebraska for a while until getting hired by the government ASC office where he stayed until retirement. After retirement, they moved back to Comstock, Nebraska where they have lived ever since. Billy is survived by: his wife, Jean Marsh of Comstock, Nebraska; sister, Virginia Watts of Comstock, Nebraska and a host of friends and relatives. Billy was welcomed into The Heavenly Home by: his parents, William Henry and Erma Viola Marsh and all the family Saints who have gone before.
