J D Larimore furnished the following obituary published in the Roseburg, OR "The News-Review": HOGAN, Emmett H. Sr. - Of Roseburg, OR passed away after a lengthy illness on February 18, 2001. He was born on February 1, 1918 in Bethel, Oklahoma. Emmett and his wife Jacqueline have been Roseburg residents for over 55 years. Emmett was a long time employee of Sun Studs, Inc. and retired from there in 1981. He enjoyed music, dancing, sports, his family and especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Jacqueline of Roseburg; his daughter Jackie Wines and her husband Mike of Longview, Washington; his son Emmett Hogan, Jr. (Butch) and his wife Kathy of Roseburg; his granddaughters Jeriliyn Ingalls of Longview, WA, Jennifer Rouffel of Longview, WA, Haley Lansing of Roseburg, OR and Emiley Hogan of Roseburg, OR; his six greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Also his sisters Dessie Roper of Roseburg, Rae Nelson of Portland and Ola McKnight of Tulsa, OK. He was preceded in death by his mother and father and two sisters.
