OBITUARY- Lena Irene Maixner, 90, of Austin, died Nov. 27, 2004, at Comforcare Good Samaritan Center. Lena was born Nov. 3, 1914, to Peter W. and Ida M. (Guttormson) Williamson in Corning, Minn. She was baptized and confirmed at Red Oak Grove Lutheran Church and attended country school near Corning. She married Ernest Maixner on Dec. 2, 1931, in Albert Lea. They made their home on the family farm in Newry Township and later moved north of Blooming Prairie where they lived until the fall of 1949 when they moved into Blooming Prairie. In 1962 she moved to Austin. Ernest died on Nov. 20, 1984, and Lena became a resident of Comforcare on March 28, 1996. Survivors include three daughters: Norma Jean Rendall, Sacramento, Calif.; Margaret (Arnold "Buzz") Grisim, Cannon Falls, Minn.; Donna (Delbert) Sommer, Owatonna; one son, David (Donna) Maixner, Blooming Prairie; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two sisters: Marian Yezek, Austin; Inez Spitzack of Morristown, Minn.; three brothers: James Williamson, Austin; Loren Williamson, Minneapolis; and Nordee Williamson, Austin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest; siblings: Cora, Emma, Ardell, Roger, Bill, Gerald, John and Osmar. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004, at Worlein Funeral Home with The Rev. Bruce Falksen officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to the service. Interment is at Red Oak Grove Lutheran Cemetery. ***************************************
