Bio

Services for Olga T. Naprstek, 98, Creighton were held at 10:30 a.m. at St. Ludger Catholic Church. The Rev. John Rizzo officiated with burial in the parish cemetery. She died Friday at the Creighton Care Centre. She was born September 30, 1891 at Warsa in Howard County, the daughter of Frank and Anna (Blaha) Manasil. She attended elementary school in Howard County, two years of business college at St. Paul and had taught school near Elba. In June 1912 she married William Naprstek at Warsa. They moved to Creighton in 1928, where he managed the Creighton Creamery until his death in May 1956. Mrs. Naprstek was a member of St. Ludger Catholic Church, its Altar Society, Catholic Daughters and a charter member and former president of the Creighton Woman's Club. Survivors include two sons, Paul of Creighton and Willard of Plainview and one sister, Mrs. Lucille Reeves of Plymouth, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and three sisters. ...The Creighton News 11 Nov 1989
