Son of Roy & Emma (Lutzke) Furby. Married to Lucille Boardman on 9-16-1940 at Albion, NE. They farmed in Merrick, Nance & Boone Counties. Moved to Belgrade where he was policeman. 1970: Moved to Fullerton. Died Tues. 9 Jun 1998 at Albion, NE. Service Fri., Palmer's Funeral Home, Fullerton. Burial: Fullerton Cemetery. Survivors: His wife, 2 daughters, 2 sons, 10 gch., 9 gch.; 2 sisters. Predeceased by an infant son Walter Eugene; 3 brothers Ralph, Marvin and Glenn Furby.
